This marks the first-ever design patent obtained not just by the college but by any institution in Burhanpur district in the field of science and technology, setting a new benchmark for academic excellence and innovative research in the region.

About the Invention

This state-of-the-art device is a revolution in agricultural and plant science. Equipped with:
● A high-resolution camera, multispectral sensor, and inbuilt light source.
● AI-driven spectral analysis producing real-time chlorophyll and plant health maps.
● Touchscreen interface, wireless connectivity, and a weather-resistant body for both field and laboratory use.

It assesses chlorophyll absorption, photosynthetic efficiency, and plant stress, making it an essential tool for modern sustainable farming and crop management.

The college organized a “Drink Butter Milk” campaign to promote health benefits of butter milk, focusing on its nutritional value, digestive benefits and role in maintaining overall well-being. Students and staff participated enthusiastically in an interactive session and learning about the importance of incorporating butter milk into their daily lives.

Butter milk is a fermented dairy product made from the liquid left behind after churning cream to make butter. It is rich in probiotics, protein, and various nutrients.

What is Vermicomposting?

Vermicomposting is a natural, eco-friendly process that utilizes earthworms to decompose organic waste into a nutrient-rich fertilizer. This method is a type of composting that involves the use of earthworms to break down organic matter into a humus-like material.

Vermicomposting Process:

1. Collection of Organic Waste: Collect organic waste materials such as food scraps, vegetable peels, and tea bags.
2. Selection of Earthworms: Choose the right species of earthworms, such as Red Wigglers or Eisenia fetid, suitable for vermicomposting.
3. Establishment of Vermicomposting Unit: Set up a vermicomposting unit, such as a worm bin or a vermicomposting bed.
4. Regular Maintenance and Monitoring: Regularly add organic waste, maintain moisture, and monitor temperature and pH levels.
