S.G.J. Quaderia college is the only college which runs Home Science faculty in Burhanpur District.

There are 5 areas of Home Science which are covered in the curriculum. They are foods and nutrition, Textile & clothing, House hold management, Extension & communication & Human development. All these areas provide employment and self employment opportunities to the Home Science degree holders. Some of the opportunities are- as a dietitian, interior decorator, social worker, counselor, fashion designer etc.
